Broculin ingredients

Broccoli Seed

Each stick contains 200mg broccoli seed extract in a powder drink.

Rich in SGS content
Broccoli is known to contain one of the highest levels of Sulforaphane Glucosinolate (SGS), a key substance that makes broccoli a Superfood. SGS, when consumed, becomes a powerful antioxidant and cell protector to combat free radicals and toxins. The SGS content of broccoli seed helps to reduce glucose production, thus regulating glucose metabolism and improving blood sugar balance.1

However, cooking broccoli can destroy the SGS content within. The broccoli seed extract used in Broculin contains higher SGS content than raw broccoli.2

Supports liver health
SGS protects our liver cells by inhibiting formation of free radicals and reducing oxidative stress.3

Chicory Root

Each stick contains 9.8g chicory root extract.

Supports gut health and regular bowel movements
Chicory root is one of the richest natural sources of inulin and Fructooligosaccharides (FOS). As dietary fibre, chicory inulin and FOS increase fibre mass and promote the regularity of bowel movements.4

Enhances calcium absorption
A combination of inulin and FOS helps to increase the solubility of calcium, thus enhancing calcium absorption and bone mineralisation.5

SUPPLEMENT FACTS

DIRECTIONS

As a dietary supplement,
take 1 stick daily.
Mix in 150-200ml of warm water or your favourite beverages such as milk or fruit juice.
Stir while pouring to dissolve well.

This product does not contain animal-derived ingredients.

Water extraction process

The broccoli seed extract in Broculin is extracted using a natural hot water process to retain its rich glucoraphanin source.

Long-lasting antioxidant action

SGS content in broccoli seed extract is converted into sulforaphane when consumed. Sulforaphane is known to be a potent natural inducer of phase 2 enzymes, which are good antioxidants and excellent detoxifiers.

This group of enzymes do not normally work at full capacity but sulforaphane is able to boost the function of these enzymes by causing them to remain in their “charged” state for up to 72 hours.6

Thus, sulforaphane delivers long-lasting antioxidant action1 as compared to other dietary antioxidants, which would have to be constantly replenished since their antioxidant protection wanes off quickly.7
